Why an Institute for Surat al Kahf?

Surah Al-Kahf, with its fascinating stories and topics, deserves in-depth research. Numerous studies and research have been conducted on the Surah to date, but these are often disjointed and largely uninformed. The Institute of Al-Kahf aims to bring together numerous studies under one roof while simultaneously conducting in-depth research within an academic discipline.

Future steps: Projects developed based on this special Surah offer a significant glimmer of hope for humanity. We certainly utilize traditional and classical sources of exegesis, but we must focus on the Surah in a planned, targeted, and disciplined manner, taking into account current conditions. While experts in exegesis, hadith, and fiqh will certainly be at the table during this study, our institute's perspective is quite different; we particularly desire the participation of experts from positive scientific disciplines. From this perspective, the Institute of Al-Kahf is undertaking a study unlike any other in the world.
